SeX-Ray Gun
Perhaps your best attack is a long freakadelic offense | |
So the main idea is to take any highly viscous or sticky fluid and force it through a small metal tube with a rubber inner lining at high speeds and you'll probably create x-rays depending on the electrical discharge distance occuring at the tip. I know about some synthetic massage oils that safely
emulate stickiness, but for these purposes there is nothing wrong with using Petroleum Jelly or even honey for the ultimate in viscoscity. Anyhow, using a syringe needle and a hydraulic actuated piston, such a high and precise charge could be built up on the needle tip, and if properly gapped or gapped with adjustable distances to the anode, a coherent beam of X-rays or other high energy photons might be produced based on wavelength equals high intensity photon speed and on resonant discharge frequency. Of course, there would need to be a parabolic lead shield on the snot launcher's side to protect from high energy photonic radiation.
Note 1: Check out the link on "Sticky X-rays" if you are unfamiliar with the concept of X-rays being generated by unrolling scotch tape in a vacuum.
Note 2: Although the male orgasm likely produces X-rays due to charge buildup, I won't go there too much because that doesn't last nearly as long as necessary to create an X-ray gun (evolution probably weeded out that ability a long time ago because of the resulting high mutation rates from radiation exposure, the introduction of conductivity and lubrication fluids, and the opening/closing neuronal AC circuit routed directly to the pleasure center of the brain).

So you kill your enemies and have sex with the bodies? |

Well, a vacuum is not entirely necessary for creating X-rays but it helps. In the absense of the vacuum, the charge tends to dissipate before it can build up to high enough levels to create X-rays. I think the Van De Graph lightning still creates them, but not as regularly or as much as scotch tape in a vacuum though. |

Don't you think the charge would also disipate in the presence of a conductive fluid such as sweat? So this is really bad dry murderous sex? |

thanks for pointing out that my model was too simple MisterQED. Evolution probably weeded that kind of sex out a long time ago (or if people are just 'plain' dehydrated), I've added two additional parameters to Note 2 to take some more essential effects into account. |

Damn. And to think that this weekend I just threw out all my X-ray film and lead aprons (no kidding, I really did. Next week I'm going through the film developing equipment and dental cameras. This is tearing me apart) |

The transition to the digital age is rough on a borderline hoarder. Jan Saudek hear my prayer. |

I would challenge you to a contest DrBob, you against my SeX-Ray Gun, and see which one produces the most X-rays for the longest amount of time. |

A challenge, eh? OK. I'll be in the town square at high noon. Bring friends! |
